What is Ausbildung?
“AUSBILDUNG” is a 3-year vocational training program in Germany that leads to a full qualification in your chosen profession. During this time, you will:
- Work 3–4 days per week in a company
- Attend school 1–2 days per week
- Learn from German trainers and earn while you train

What Happens After the Training?
At the end of your 3-year Ausbildung, you will receive an official German diploma. Most companies are ready to hire you as a full-time employee with a stable salary.
- After you receive your permanent contract, you may also apply for family reunification under German law.
- Your long-term residence can be extended – leading toward permanent residency.
