Honest guides for your Ausbildung journey — from the Philippines to Germany.

Kabayan, getting a German visa refusal is heartbreaking. You have spent months learning German, preparing documents, saving money for the application fees — and then a single letter says ‘rejected’. The worst part? In most cases, the refusal was completely avoidable.

One of the most confusing parts of the German Ausbildung visa application is the financial proof requirement. The embassy needs to see that you can support yourself financially in Germany — but how exactly do you prove this?

You have your training contract. Your German language certificate is ready. Your documents are apostilled and translated. Now comes the question every Filipino Ausbildung applicant eventually faces: Where do I actually apply for my visa — and how exactly does it work?

Kabayan, here is the truth: more Ausbildung visa applications from the Philippines fail because of missing or wrong documents — not because the applicants were unqualified. One missing apostille, one expired certificate, one unsigned page — and your appointment gets cancelled.

So you have made up your mind. You want to move to Germany, do your Ausbildung, build a career, and create a better life for yourself and your family. Kabayan, that decision alone puts you ahead of most people.

Dreaming of starting your Ausbildung (vocational training) in Germany? You are not alone. Thousands of Filipinos every year are making the move from the Philippines to Germany – and the first major step is getting the right visa.
